I began this blog to share my journey in miniature building & painting. It all began with some cleaning around the house. Then I rediscovered my stash of Games Workshop minis, dusty and largely unpainted. I began a quest to learn for real this time how to paint with style and bring color to the ranks of grey and silver soldiers.
Like those youtubers, forum posters and tweeters who have inspired me, I want to share my knowledge, artwork, and thoughts with the internet. And have something to look at in the future to see how far I’ve come, or maybe how much I’ve stagnated. Who can say.
Expect to see many Games Workshop figurines/models/minis/toys/dolls/army guys/action figures/plastic people and plastic people accessories. Warhammer 40,000 (40K), Lord of the Rings (LotR), and perhaps some Age of Sigmar (AoS). Also some Reaper Bones minis from Reaper miniatures.
I consider myself a well read newbie here in 2020 as I return from something like a 12 year hiatus from the mini arts. A self taught student of the craft, if someone who’s read one mini painting How To book and watched some video guides counts as self taught.
