The effect is quite subtle. The new layer has almost a pink hue. Im scared to push it further but also want bigger contrast.
Finally i mixed ice yellow into the brew and used a lighter pink seen in picture 1. Then used more pure red to fill out the darker tones. Good enough for me for now.
